For an authentic Greek cuisine all you have to do is visit Williamsburg in Brooklyn and Santorini Grill. The place is adorable and looks like you walk in to a Greek island home. This restaurant gets high remarks for its friendly and efficient stuff.

Paula the owner and cook of the place is a head of everything and everyone. A professional lady that is eager to hear your opinion of her dishes and let you know how they were made.
Santorini has the best appetizers I ever tasted, starting with the best spinach pie ever (it reminds me of the one my mom used to make) the grilled octopus that actually melts in your mouth the taramosalata along with the satziki sauce and the skordalia made with walnuts ,which is Paula’s personal recipe.
If you like gyro you can try one of two, the chicken or the lamb, but if you want my opinion try a little of both, it’s worth it. If you are a fish lover you can have the Pranzini or mussels in red hot sauce that go great with a bottle of the wine of your choice.
And please don’t forget to try the mousaka that is a delight by itself.
The dessert is another good reason to visit the restaurant since the baklava and the orange cake are the best I ever tasted.
When you go there on a Saturday night you get to enjoy all of the above under the sound of light Greek music from Taso Papaioannou who, with his beautiful voice will give you moments that will remain unforgettable.
